Team Melli was defeated against powerhouse Ukraine 1-0 in the final match in Salou, Spain.
Brazil beat the US 2-0 in the bronze medal match.
Iran was held to a 2-2 draw against the US in its opener and defeated Australia, England and Brazil in its following matches.
