Tel Aviv [Israel], April 22 (ANI): Guy Nir, Spokesperson of the Israel Embassy in India condemned a 'heinous' terror attack on tourists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam, and emphasized Israel's solidarity with India.

In a post on X ,Guy Nir said, 'Deeply saddened by the heinous terror attack on tourists in #Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. My thoughts are with the victims and their families. Israel stands united with India in the fight against terrorism.'

Israeli Ambassador to India Reuven Azar also reacted to the attack and expressed support for the security forces in India's struggle against terror.
'Sad and appalled following the terrorist attack in J-K, which took the lives of innocent civilians. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families and our support is for the security forces in their struggle against terror,' Reuven Azar said in a post on X.

Following the attack, Argentina's Ambassador to India, Mariano Caucino, condemned the terrorist act, stating that 'Argentina stands with India...'

Further, Singapore's High Commissioner to India, HC Wong, expressed shock over the attack, offering condolences to the families of the injured and deceased.
'Shocked to hear of the reprehensible attack on innocent tourists in #Pahalgam J&K. Our thoughts are with the family of the injured and deceased. HC Wong,' Singapore in India wrote on X.
The attack, which targeted tourists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam, took place earlier on Tuesday. However, the state government has not issued any official statement on casualties.
Anti-terror operations have been launched in response to the attack on tourists in Pahalgam, and assured that the perpetrators would pay a heavy price for their actions.
Following the attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a telephonic conversation with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and directed him to take all necessary measures in response to the incident.
PM Modi has also asked the Home Minister to visit the site of the attack in south Kashmir's Anantnag district to assess the situation personally.
PM Modi 'strongly' condemned the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam and paid condolences to those who have lost their loved ones.
In a post on X, PM Modi said, 'I strongly condemn the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. I pray that the injured recover at the earliest. All possible assistance is being provided to those affected,' PM Modi said.
'Those behind this heinous act will be brought to justice...they will not be spared! Their evil agenda will never succeed. Our resolve to fight terrorism is unshakable, and it will get even stronger,' he added.
Political leaders across parties have strongly condemned the firing incident reported in the Pahalgam area of south Kashmir, calling it an attack on peace and the region's tourism sector. (ANI)
